Summer Student Position
Type of position: Entry level Reports to: Company President Location: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada Job posted: April 24th 2018 Position Summary The main responsibilities of this position are to organize, print and fulfill custom clothing orders for Golden Custom's clients. As a clothing production associate, you must be a team player and have a positive “Can Do” attitude. You must be capable of great attention to detail and have the patience to deal with the many variables within the clothing decoration process. You do what it takes to not only get the job completed on time but to a high level of quality. The purpose of the position is to ensure the smoothest and highest quality customer experience possible while maintaining a high level of quality control. This position includes interacting with clients in person, and over phone and email. The right candidate will possess a sharp eye for detail, a willingness to learn and apply new skills, a self motivated attitude, and a high level of customer service and communication skills. Roles and Responsibilities: - Prepping and printing custom clothing orders - Sorting and organizing inventory for incoming clothing shipments - Managing quality control and shipping on outgoing orders - Engaging and communicating with clients to help them achieve desired outcomes for their clothing orders - General housekeeping, cleaning and other tasks as needed The Ideal Candidate will be: - Detail orientated and committed to high quality work - Comfortable working extra hours as projects come up - Committed to consistently providing a high level of client service Education/Experience Requirements: - High school diploma and must have attended a post-secondary institution full-time in the current year and intend to return to full-time studies in the Fall of the current year - Real life experience working in a variety of organizations and companies is an asset - Understanding of social media and personal branding Skill Requirements: - A willingness to learn and apply new skills in relation to fashion and clothing production - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time to complete tasks with tight turn around times - Ability to juggle competing priorities - Strong communication skills for customer relations - Proficiency in basic online programs such as Microsoft Office - Proactive in completing work, solving problems, and taking charge of own professional development How To Apply:
